Gourmet
Alley . . . .
The
heart of the Gilroy Garlic Festival is our world-famous
Gourmet Alley. It is here, in a gigantic outdoor kitchen,
that the flamboyant Pyro Chefs, who are rather fond
of dramatic flare-ups, cook up garlic-laced calamari
and scampi in huge iron skillets over blazing fire pits.
Meanwhile, an army of dedicated volunteers helps prepare
other Alley favorites like penne con pesto, stuffed
mushrooms, pepper steak sandwiches, garlic sausage sandwiches,
pacific rim garlic chicken stir fry, and, of course,
garlic bread. If you can't decide which to try, then
go for the combo plate 1 or combo plate 2. Each give
you a taste of these popular dishes.
Be
sure to experience Gourmet Alley during your trip to
the Garlic Festival. We're sure it will please any garlic
lover!
