have over 4,000 spirited volunteers ready to make your
trip to the Gilroy Garlic Festival a most memorable
experience.
 Whether
you are a first-time visitor or a "seasoned"
veteran, the Gilroy Garlic Festival is always a fun
and fragrant experience. Over 3 million honored
guests have made the pilgrimage. Please join us in celebrating
this palate-pleasing herb at the 30th annual Gilroy
Garlic Festival, July 25-27. Always the last full weekend
in July!

the Gilroy Garlic Festival Association
The
Gilroy Garlic Festival Association is a non-profit corporation.
Its goal is
to support the community projects, charitable groups
and service organizations of Gilroy.
In
2007 over 4,000 volunteers from 169 non-profit groups
worked 41,597 hours to host the 29th Annual Garlic Festival.
$275,000 was distributed to non-profit organizations.
From 1979 through 2007 the success of the annual Festival
has enabled the Association to award almost $8 million
to these groups, not to mention the other charities
which generated funds through booths operated at the
three-day event.

Statement
The
Gilroy Garlic Festival is established to
provide benefits to local worthy charities
and non-profit groups by promoting the community
of Gilroy through a quality celebration of
Garlic.
